Sunday’s Best #2

diffusing lavender essential oil for pms relief - www.liveloveblu.com

Hello, hello, hello!

It’s that time of the week for us to check in with one another. I hope you’re well, my anxiety has been acting up a little bit, but it’s manageable.

My dear friend, and Godmother to my two senior pups, Jasmine, signed me up for the AIDS Atlanta 5k. Apparently, me ignoring her email and text message asking me if I wanted to do it wasn’t an acceptable response. I’m glad she did because I ended up walking almost 8 miles yesterday!

At night I tend to add my lavender essential oil to my diffuser for restful sleep, but those miles knocked me out! I’m a little sore but I’m feeling good on this chilly Monday! No Monday blues for me!

So here are my offerings for today!

Sunday’s Best

Feeling nostalgic: Cold weather means you should be seeing an increase in hearty meals that just warm your soul up! Beef stew was my most requested meal as a child. This recipe is solid and anyone I share it with loves it, so of course I want to share it with you! (Simply Delicious)

Unsure: I found a box of  DVDs, and I don’t know if I should donate or keep them. I’m trying to be more intentional about what I have in my home, and I’m thinking of using my Audible credit to listen to The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.

Feeling pretty: I keep my daily makeup simple, just some eyebrow filler, bronzer and lipstick. Spending 5 extra minutes on my skincare routine to remove make-up robs me of 5 minutes I could spend being nosy on Instagram. *Shrug.*

I stumbled upon this Certainly Red by Revlon because I lost my Ruby Woo in a friend’s car. It doesn’t cake up or feel dry. (liveloveblu, Amazon)

Borrowed eyes: I was on Instagram watching @mskeribradshaw Instastories about an app called Be My Eyes.

It connects blind and low-vision people with sighted volunteers.

The other day I helped someone read the label on a canned good. I’m not a fan of unscheduled Facetime calls, but I do love seeing the app notification when someone wants to video chat for some help.

To the mattresses: How old is your mattress? Mine is a teenager. We live in a time where you can order mattresses online that arrive at your front door in a box no bigger than you! After unboxing you just wait for it to spring to life and settle into its boxy frame. See what I did there? Lol.

This mattress tracks and GRADES your sleep and I am beyond intrigued! What grade would you give yourself for how well you sleep? (Eight Sleep)

That’s it from me, time for me to figure out something to make for dinner!

I hope your week is perfect.

Feel free to add your own offerings down below!
