Um, Hi.

Is it me or did November just breeze on by? Thanksgiving felt like it was on repeat for 3 weeks! I guess that’s what happens when you follow a lot of food bloggers.

How was your thanksgiving? Mine was awesome.

I’m thankful for friends who opened up their homes, so I could open up my mouth and consume all the yummy food. In return, I volunteered myself as the entertainment for the night, singing karaoke.

This could be interpreted as entertainment…

or torture… 

My friends are pretty great when it comes to cooking, so if you heard anyone yell “who made the _____” it was met with various phrases such as “Oh, this is good!” or “girl you did that!”

I’d like to raise my glass to those of us who brought over a bottle and didn’t have to bravely navigate the grocery stores during thanksgiving.

If you played host and cooked, I salute you and hope you woke up to a clean kitchen.

Last, if you brought over a dish using a new recipe… I pray your aunts and your mee-maw spared your feelings. Also, don’t do that again. Your credibility will now be questioned for the next 5 years and this incident will forever be brought up each thanksgiving!
